Most companies typically mail one delinquent notice. At Municipal Management Associates, we automatically mail out a series of five color-coded notices at the option and schedule of the client at no additional charge. All of our delinquent notices list past due tickets as well--most other data processing companies list only the current outstanding parking ticket.

This series of five delinquency notices is from our premier Citation 2000® system. Here's how it works:

• Overdue Notice for Parking Violations - red
• Notice of Unpaid Parking Violations - blue
• Notice of Non-Renewal - violet
• Confirmation of Non-Renewal - orange
• Notice of Tow & Hold - green

These notices are incredibly effective in prompting payments from delinquent motorists. It's one of the reasons we can boast an average collection rate of 93.5 percent. We've carefully worded each notice, have tested them in the marketplace, and have chosen the ones that garner the best results.

All notices are two-part original print. No carbon or NCR forms are used. The motorist retains one copy for his or her records. We mail all notices in window envelopes with an enclosed return envelope. We automatically affix postage at the lowest possible rate and mail the notices from the Marlborough Post Office.
